What Members Thought
This book is long. And it moves slowly. And seems somewhat disjointed. So why did I read it? (It took me 4 months, by the way.)
Well, it's a classic, and I had never read it. It was a challenge in a group here on Good Reads. And at some point, you get to the point of no return where you may as well push through.
There were parts that were quite interesting. I was surprised by the frequent mentions of Christianity in this book.

Dr. Sigmund Freud called this "the best novel ever written." It is a sprawling, detailed and insightful look into the human mind and a wonderful walk through pre-communist Russia.
