Read for Victober 2017.
I finished reading this book a couple weeks ago and if I had reviewed it immediately I would have given it 3 stars, maximum. However in the intervening days the book has grown in my esteem. I cannot explain why that happens -- books grow or fade in my esteem as time passes and I often cannot explain why that is. Read for my Books to Movies Writing Seminar. I remember being surprised how well the fantasy aspects hold up over time and over re-imaginings of vampires. The end action becomes a blur in my mind, it could probably use a rereading, but I admit I'd go back to Interview with the Vampire first.
