This has Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass written all over it. I really like what this book is getting at and how it gets at it. The structure and the pacing are sometimes a little rushed, but I think I have an idea as to why Juster goes about conducting his book this way.

A definite classic in my book. Read it when I was a kid and loved it and so took it out to read to my kids to see if they'd like it. They found it a bit cheezy but still enjoyed it. I thought it was rather brilliant when I was a kid and loved the play on words and the learning aspect of literature and math. Enjoyed it just as much reading it again as an adult. One of my favorites and will always be.
