Shelves: drama-romance-contemporary, audiobooks, classics

This is one of those books everybody read in high school except me, so I figured it was about time I got to it. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly the story moved. It never dragged, and I was always wondering what would happen next. It's really a pretty simple story, so it's very skillfully done to keep me so engaged. The writing is lyrical; very fine. One of the key points in the book is how Jane chooses to follow her values and convictions instead of indulging in a present happiness. Th ...more

من أحلى القصص الرومانسية الغير اعتيادية اللى قرأتها
أول ما بهرنى فيها ان الكاتبة شارلوت عاشت طول عمرها فى كنيسة و لم تتركها
ده بهرنى انها قدرت تشرح العالم المحيط بجين بالطريقة دى و الأماكن اللى زارتها و الناس اللى قابلتهم!

جين دى شخصية عانت من كل حاجة تقريبا
زوجة أب - بهدلة و فقر - عزلة عن أهلها - عاشت لوحدها - اشتغلت خادمة - كانت من غير مأوى فى اوقات كتيرة
المعاملة السيئة طول الوقت تقريبا ... إلخ
و لكنها قدرت بسبب شخصيتها

رواية رائعة و بتعلم الصبر فعلا!

bab - bab perkenalan/permulaan benar - benar membosankan. Terlalu banyak dan hampir mirip kisah Cinderella, cuma ini bibinya bukan ibu tiri.
Cerita baru menarik setelah Jane keluar dari Lowood, suka sekali bagian waktu Jane bertemu Mr. Rochester untuk pertama kali.
Jane adalah wanita yang tidak cantik ataupun menarik, Mr. Rochester juga tidak tampan keunggulannya adalah postur tubuh dan kekayaannya.
Mr. Rochester walaupun terkesan selalu bersikap profesional terhadap Jane ternyata selalu memperhati ...more
