Reading Anne of Green Gables as an adult was a completely different experience than I had in my childhood. My reaction was completely different. I was in awe of the descriptive writing. I was in awe of how the plot of a simple story -- an orphan girl is adopted -- brings on an array of emotions.
The story is unforgettable. I am looking forward to rereading the Anne series as an adult.

I loved the anime and the book is even better, I'm planning to read all the series this summer!

I cartoni animati di Anna dei capelli rossi erano bellissimi, ma il libro é anche meglio. Considerato che sono stata tanto fortunata da trovare tutta la serie di libri cartacea, ho intenzione di leggermela tutto quest'estate.

Re-visiting the Anne of Green Gables series for some much needed light summer reading. I’m loving them even m

This is simply one of the kindest, brightest, life and truth affirming books I have read in quite a long time. I sincerely recommend it to all the kids and grown ups out there, especially if you feel somewhat down. All is well with the world if you are eager to see the right and the Light!!!
