3.5 stars from me!

In the beginning it was hard to understand and like Alex, the main character who is the son of the first female US president. But after the plot of his relationship with Henry, the Prince of Wales, resurfaced, the book is getting better.

Some of the political plots are too wishful thinking IMO - an escapist of a young progresive/liberal writer. And she confirmed in the acknowledgment that she wrote this book during her disappointment after the 2016 election results. Hence the fe ...more

While this was a cute rom-com and well written, it wasn't anything special. Yeah, even though it's two guys (gasp!) instead of a girl and guy, it was still fairly standard fare. I enjoyed reading it, but it won't stick with me for very long, and most of the action was pretty predictable. ...more

I’ve heard nothing but good things about this book. It started out real strong I liked the main characters, especially the prince. It dragged for me. I enjoyed the story but it was definitely too long! The political focus was too much for me.
