I'll start out by saying that if you love Hallmark movies, you'll love this book. But that's not exactly true. I think if you dislike Hallmark movies, you'll still love this book. If you ever find yourself rooting for the "villain" to have their own happy ending, this book will make its way into your own heart. And if you love quirky characters or are any type of a workaholic, you'll especially love this one. Thanks to Netgalley for this arc. Read for my Zoom book club, The Napping Bibliophile, ...more

I regret listening to this book as opposed to reading it. Think I would have liked it so much more had I read it. I loved how the author makes fun of cheesy characters and tropes and how realistic her characters were. I found myself nodding in agreement so many times! Some parts were a bit too descriptive, repetitive and whiny though.
