Emily Henry masterly weaves together book quotes, quirky characters and pens the relationship between a 'sharky' agent and curmudgeonly editor. That playful banter will leave readers eagerly paging through the story until closing the final chapter.

I love a good bookish romance, but this one had some nice twists that I hadn't seen before. Nora's great, as is Libby and Charlie, and that whole group of people in North Carolina. But each of them also had their own story arc, dealing with emotional trauma from their pasts, and each of them got to deal with it in turn. 3.5 seems right for a book that doesn't get anything majorly wrong nor majorly right. It didn't have the magic of Beach Read. Mostly I didn't believe in the characters; they're described (and only described--lots of telling instead of showing) as competitive, overly professional, or "shark" agents, but we really don't see that in action.
