They say you can't judge a book by its cover but this time, judge away if you're a book lover. Emily Henry masterly weaves together book quotes, quirky characters and pens the relationship between a 'sharky' agent and curmudgeonly editor. That playful banter will leave readers eagerly paging through the story until closing the final chapter.

Nora and Charlie are an unlikely pair but delving beneath the surface, their combative nature are jacketed covers. From appearances, they seem larger than l

I love a good bookish romance, but this one had some nice twists that I hadn't seen before. Nora's great, as is Libby and Charlie, and that whole group of people in North Carolina. Solid four out of five on the beach read scale. Very well written, witty dialogue, likable and unexpected characters, can’t go wrong with this book! Two city dwellers who happen to be book editors fall in love in a small town one summer. The author is in on the tropes which makes it fun to read.

The premise was to turn the trope of the big city girl in the small town on its head, but it just wound up varying it slightly. Several questions remained unans ...more

Adorable, laugh-out-loud romance. I loved the creative beginning and the banter. Entertaining throughout.
It has language and sexual content.

Stayed up late on this one, couldn’t put it down. Perfect Quick read after reading a couple heavy-content books. This author writes a good book!
