I started this last summer when our Access alumni book club chose to read it, and had to put it down. I only finished it because it's Toni Morrison and a Pulitzer-winner novel. I loved the idea for the story, but kind of hated its execution. I feel really bad not liking this book; Toni Morrison is a literary giant, and I'm definitely not going to say she shouldn't be one. According to the reviews, people either tend to love or hate this book. I can happily say I thoroughly enjoyed it!
