This one started slower for me than Emily Henry’s others, but the characters were, as usual, delightful, with flaws and hardships and real depth you don’t always find in this genre. I would love a second book about Poppy and Alex!

I normally don't enjoy first person narratives; they always feel a little ... simple but this story had an interesting structure alternating memory with the now. Both of the lead characters felt like real people you might know in situations you can relate to. The overarching themes of life purpose, love and anxiety around loss is one I really identified with and thought was wonderfully handled. The romance was believable, which is always a good thing. :)

Audio- one of the best books I’ve read in awhile. I loved the story and all the small things it made me rethink about life. It made me miss travel but reminded me of all the reasons I love it and shouldn’t take it for granted.
