I normally don't enjoy first person narratives; they always feel a little ... simple but this story had an interesting structure alternating memory with the now. Both of the lead characters felt like real people you might know in situations you can relate to. The overarching themes of life purpose, love and anxiety around loss is one I really identified with and thought was wonderfully handled. The romance was believable, which is always a good thing. :) ...more
