How fun to travel with these two characters when everyone has been home for a whole year under quarantine. Super sweet love story, really liked it.

Ahhh, this is what i had hoped "Beach Reads" would be, but was not! This is a great romantic comedy book. I try and read lots of romantic comedy novels and i usually give up about 30 pages in. This one, was just a delight. We read about Poppy and Alex, best friends from college (meet cute) who travel together every summer on vacations around the world. They love each other, clearly, but can't admit it. I think the reason why this story works is because the story goes back and forth in time. The ...more

This was adorable and funny and sweet. I loved their vacation catch phrases (my husband and I do the same thing) and their quirky families and all the travel destinations. The back and forth timelines let you watch the relationship come together twice - once from the beginning and once in a new iteration - why was a really lovely way to bring it all together.
