I love this book! It's filled with love, laughter, joy, sorrow and the trials and tribulations of living in a war-torn time! It's fascinating and uplifting, engaging and enthralling. Everyone, and I mean everyone, should read this compilation of letters between some of the most lovable characters I've met in a book in a long time!!!

I can’t believe I hadn’t read this book before now. Absolutely delightful. Great character development, which is a feat given the format. Highly recommend the audiobook format.
uhmmm...mixed feeling about this one. I love the letter format, but sometimes it's hard to follow who is who and which character is this one, etc. I also can't get Juliet the heroine that well. I love Sydney's character and some of the Guernsey's people, but the ending of the story is just meh for me.

At first I was a little put off about reading a book in letter format, but after reading two of the "letters" I was completely sucked in. It was a really interesting look at WWII Occupation.
