This was way better than I expected. There were a few frustrating moments and the Kitty character was barely tolerable but despite that I loved it.

I don't even know where to begin. Just read it. BUT, make sure you have book 2 readily available because you will want to keep reading. I fell in love with all the characters in this book. I don't even like young adult books typically which proves just how great this one is. Funny, romantic, and quirky.
A MUST read for all. Of course, I don't have book 2. So now, I wait...

That isn't exactly the way I expected that to end. Also, now I need to 2nd book. I really need to find out what happens next. How can it just end like that? ...more

Very sweet book. Sometimes Lara Jean was just annoyingly clueless and I felt the frustration of being an adult watching teenagers make dumb, teenagery decisions. But in general I enjoyed it and do plan to listen to the sequel eventually.

This book took me by surprise and is so refreshing. It’s so innocent - and perfect for a YA. A young girl with (*shock!*) an actual good relationship with her family, smart in school, and overall, a good kid. She writes love letters to all the boys she’s “loved” (liked) as if you say goodbye and get over them. Her way of letting them go.

Then, one day, her letters are mysteriously mailed to the boys. This soon sets off a series of unfortunate events, which causes Lara Jean to not even realize sh

I started reading this a few months ago and then sort of stopped about a third of the way through. Then I started another book that was way too involved and decided to switch to this one. Lara Jean did sort of irritate me at first. When heroines aren't forceful and I think they should be I get annoyed but then I remembered that she was sixteen and allowed to be that way. Cute and fluffy and I can't wait to get started on the sequel. ...more

Read almost half of this before I decided not to waste any more time on it. I didn't like the main character and was bugged that the dad was so out-of-touch with his daughters (which just goes to show that I am truly NOT the intended audience for this book). Add in a potty-mouthed "best" friend and the multiple references to high schoolers having sex, and I made my decision: back to the library it goes. ...more
