What Members Thought
Completely original. Most fantasy worlds resemble each other. This author actually created an original and interesting world. Can’t wait to see what happens next.
This one is hard to describe without potentially straying into spoiler territory, so this is a fairly general review. The story is told from three different perspectives in alternating chapters; one of the viewpoints is written in second person, which I thought was an interesting way to present the story. Holy Moley! What an epic story! Power and loss, love and worth, suffering and connection. This book was engaging and brilliant, I’m still not quite sure what happened and I know I’ll be thinking on it for a long time! So glad I finally jumped into this one, Totally worth the hype!
This story turned me on my head a couple times. Really good start to an interesting trilogy. Looking forward to the others.
A really interesting story of a post-apocalyptic (?) world but not sure if I’m up for reading the rest of the trilogy.
