Guilty pleasure series done. It was hard to get used to the perspective changing between Tris and Tobias. I would get confused forgetting Tobias's chapters were his. I enjoyed all the backstory explaining their dystopic civilization but wasn't happy about the big event late in the book, which I'm kind of glad I knew about already. Overall, mediocre writing but an interesting story. Research into what my students read done for now. Back to more serious literature!

There were a lot of characters who I just didn't remember, which could be confusing at times. After about 20% (I was reading the Kindle version) I was back in the groove and could put the pieces back together. Maybe I shoul ...more

I can't even form a good thought on this book. I am in utter disbelief and heartbroken and angry. ...more
