This is my week of exploring the world of Veronica Roth, captured in the books of the Divergent trilogy. Unfortunately, after a strong start and middle, Allegiant fell in my esteem. I like the end. I like that things came together, but not perfectly. Not everyone lives and I think that's important to remember.

as I was reading, this book felt so different from the rest of the series, plus all the negative reviews, I knew I was going to be disappointed. but, no. I hated the ending because I didn't want it to happen, but it was a very fitting end to the series. great job, Veronica Roth, and thanks for an amazing series!

WTH, Roth! I did not like how this ended! I get it was a big thing for her to be willing to do but I did not like it. Right up to the end I was enjoying it, then I wasn't.

I like this one more than I expected to. Story was interesting but writing was worse quality than books 1 & 2.
I appreciate this last chapter. I'm not totally happy about it, but I appreciate it.
