What Members Thought
Meh. I was expecting so much more. First of all I have to give props to the narrator of the audiobook. He did an amazing job! But the story itself was just blah to me. Plus it was nothing like the movie which threw me off a bit. I'm not sure what exactly I was expecting but I know I wasn't expecting it to be so drastically different. Luckily it wasn't very long so I read through it quickly.

My 4 star rating comes mostly from knowing this was published in 1954. I listened to it on audible and the narrator did a sufficient job of setting the creepy, isolated feel. I won't give any main spoilers but I did love the ending, for its lack of hope.

I never should have read this book. The problem is that 'I am Legend' happens to be one of my favorite movies. I have seen it countless times and its the type of movie you just don't get bored of. So, I assumed the book that bought this movie to me would be as amazing as it was, and I was wrong. The book was very short, and was incredibly different.
