This book is kind of a fairy tale for adults. I laughed aloud and I cried with it. It is written so beautifully that doesn’t let the grip go away for a while.

I wasn't sure at first how i felt about this book. I didn't really like all the storytelling and mixing of "reality" and "fiction". I struggled reading and kept pushing myself to continue through the endless maze of story telling. I couldn't really tell you at what point i actually started liking this book. I can tell you that eventually i finished reading this novel with tears in my eyes. I understood perfectly all that Elsa's grandmother has gone through, and the lessons she has tried to teach

Highly recommended! One of my favorites of the year. I'm glad I read it around Christmas. A story that restores your faith in humankind. And there's Harry Potter references throughout. Can't get any better. :)
