What Members Thought
Fabulous two-day read! I have been wanting to read these books for so long and they are, thankfully, living up to the "hype."
I didn't know that you would actually be there for the CREATION of Narnia!
And there were definately tears in my eyes when Digory was crying but he looks and Aslan is crying too in the most sincere way.
My favorite part was when Aslan called everything to life:
"Narnia, Narnia, Narnia, awake. Love. Think. Speak. Be walking trees. Be talking beasts. Be divine waters." ...more

I still think that The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe is the best introduction to Narnia. This is a good story about the beginning of Narnia, but it doesn't quite have that same feeling of wonder.

Chronologically, this happens before The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, but it was written after. I read it after, but I'm undecided as to which order seems best.
