This started out better than I expected - it's not just a tired re-tread of book 1. I've got some issues with the Cole/Ali thing, because Cole is being an asshole, Ali is upset, his friends say "it's not what you think" but what else IS she to think since Cole can't be bothered to tell her anything? I can stomach it though, because Ali is not really putting UP with Cole - at one point he says "you don't understand," and she hits him and says "of course I don't understand, you moron! you won't ex

First and foremost, I'm not going to complain about the constant relationship drama because this is a series meant for teens, so prepare yourself for a lot of frustration with regards to Ali and Cole, a little bit fueled by wanting to see them together and most of due to the constant state of flux they're in.
All in all, an interesting turn of events as Ali deals with ZA, the Hazmats, Veronica, and yet more life changes. If she thought things were bad before, there's just more coming. The ending ...more
