I tried to read this book a while ago - this time i listened to the story. I liked it. I loved the history - Diane Bishop, works at oxford University. She is a witch, though she doesn't want to use her magic since her parents (witches also) were brutally murdered. She meets dreamy vampire Matthew and they go to yoga and start to fall in luuuv. Diana seems to be the only being who can access the ancient alchemical manuscript Ashmole 786. Then things take a turn - the whole beginning of the story ...more
