This is not a book for the faint of heart. Wow, I don't even know where to begin with a review on this one.
I was hoping to make the book club discussion centering on this title so I could get my thoughts in order - but alas, life stepped in and I was unable to make it so you all will have to suffer through my trying to get everything straightened out.

When I read the last page and closed the book, my initial thought was, "Huh." Not a confused huh, but a... vaguely dissatisfied huh. The thing is, I know that you're supposed to hate the main character and I did. But I don't like to hate the main character. I want to enjoy the person that I'm reading about.

One of the classics on my banned book list that I worked my way through in high school. It did nothing for me then. Or now.
