4.5 stars. Nostalgic and sweet and sad. I enjoyed every bit of it ❤️ it took be back to awkward teen life. All the emotions of a crush turning into first love. Making it set in the 80s really made it feel real for me 😂

I just finished this book and I really liked it. I loved the two main characters - espcially Park. Eleanor is quite broken - but we can see why when we meet her family. This is a very sweet love story and it barely touches the sex surface. This could be a good thing for some younger readers but there is quite a lot of bullying and terrible graphic language.

I have to admit I had kind of mixed feelings about this one. Eleanor has crazy curly hair like me, although mine isn't red. She doesn't care what other people think about how she looks, but it's more out of necessity than because she's a rebel. Not to say she doesn't have a little rebel going on as well.
