Like all of Neil Gaiman's books, this book was enchanting. After being orphaned in a triple murder, Bod Owens is adopted by the dead of a graveyard, where he then grows up. This is a magical book, in all the best ways, and made even more so by Gaiman's reading of it for the audio version. He gives a delightful voice to all the characters, as we follow Bod throughout his childhood. It had the sort of charming magic of the Harry Potter series--there's definitely danger, and scariness, and darkness, but there's a beauty to the story as well.
