What Members Thought

Jen Ifer's Inklings
Wow. This was a powerful short novel. I have read many stories about WWII and this is the first one of this nature. This reads almost like a diary recount of these days/months/years spent in the concentration camps. Such horrors and heartbreak.

I am glad to have finally read this, as sad and harrowing as it is. Wiesel tells the tale through the eyes of himself at 15 and expresses the unthinkable thoughts of someone in these impossible to imagine conditions. I wanted to know what happened once he was liberated, but I suppose that means I need to find more of his writing.
