I'd heard about this book but didn't even think about reading it until I kept seeing tweets on Twitter about how good it was. Honestly, cyborgs and androids aren't usually my cup of tea, but when Amazon had it on sale, I decided to finally give it a chance. I'm so glad I did. I was completely blown away by Cinder. This retelling of the popular fairy tale was incredible. The characters were unique and fresh, and the story had just enough twists to keep me interested. I had a feeling where the boo

Keeping in mind the intended audience, I really liked Cinder. The revamping of a classic story is well done and sets an interesting scene for the series; I do hope we get to "see" a bit more of New Beijing but the futuristic world was pretty well integrated, gradually folding in tidbits and information to fill out the Lunar Chronicles universe. Yes, the plot twist is easily guessed but that didn't detract from the novel. (Also, let's keep in mind this is based on a fairy tale so you know Cinder
