Reading books like this always makes me feel like I could be a backpacker, too... then I come to my senses! I did enjoy reading this book and going through her journey on the PCT. overall enjoyable, though I thought she was a bit whiny at times in the beginning... but I couldn't put the book down and by the end I was really rooting for her.
