Writing style: The real enchantment of the book is that it borrows from Milne’s originals. If it has been awhile since you read Pooh, you’ll no doubt be delighted and surprised at Milne’s wit. When Hoff tries to write in the same style, it falls a little flat for me.

I enjoyed this book. Not having much experience with Taoist principles, I thought this was a good way to begin learning about them. Plus I have always enjoyed Pooh and the others.
So cute! This book doesn't specifically teach Tao lessons. Instead the book uses a conversation with Winnie the Pooh, and an exploration of classic Pooh stories, to convey examples of Tao principles.
