I flew through this book in a couple of days! It was, in a word, hilarious. Don is in love with Rosie - who at first glance does not under any circumstances appear compatible to his requirements - but doesn't know how to compute that emotion and how to proceed from that step. He has rigid daily and weekly schedules, and Rosie is everything he is *not* looking for. In the end, however, she is perfect.

This book reminded me a LOT of what I've seen of the show "Big Bang Theory." Don, a super-smart professor with absolutely no understanding of social situations, uses a questionnaire to weed out faulty candidates for "the Wife Project" (i.e., finding a suitable woman to date and, ultimately, marry): smoking, vegetarianism, and arithmetic errors are all enough to be "deal-breakers" to Don, so why should he waste time dating people who don't measure up? So, I didn't really care for this book the first 3/4 of the way through, but it was an easy read so I kept going. Then, I rather fell in love with it for the last part. It was a sweet story from a perspective that deserves to be told, and a cute, easy read to boot.
