Reading this book is exactly like reading a rom-com. That is what it is - the author even says he originally was writing a screenplay and it turned into a novel. Whatever the case, this novel is totally delightful. It is the story of Don, a tenured genetics professor who is out to find his Wife. Laugh out loud funny. Achingly sweet. Utterly charming. Worth a read regardless of your gender (aka, not chick lit). Don Tillman and Rosie are REAL characters, flawed but lovable. Trying to get through the thing called life, despite their various issues. Finding fun and companionship together, despite being sure they weren't right for each other.
