What Members Thought

The most stunning thing about this book is how we managed to completely destroy the Indians in the space of one generation. Yes, it started with Columbus. But the nail was driven into the coffin in less than 30 years. And somehow through it all, it was always the Indians who were seen as the aggressors, with no regard to what was done to them, completely unfairly, again and again and again. A tragedy in every sense of the word.
