I’m wavering between four and five stars on this one. I understand why all the authors who read this novel have given it rave reviews- this is masterfully written, both in language and structure. It seems at first like there are all these random characters and random stories shared, and then you realize that all the pieces are, of course, there for a reason and Towles seamlessly weaves them together in the end.
