What Members Thought
The ending started to drag a little bit. There is so much in this book though. And it made me want to go back and reread Russian classics. I loved the playful Russian literature thing.
I recommend this book, I would give it 10 stars if I could. The Gentleman lived up to the highest expectations you could have of him. This book is highly recommended for those who think.
It’s not a book to rush through. It’s very good. The count is witty and knowledgeable. The writing is superb.
I was expecting this to be a cold and hungry story, much like many of the others featuring Russia in the last century. Instead I found it to be a light(ish) and sweet story that had some very memorable moments.
