I really did not like this. It is just so subpar in all ways: the story is blah, the characters are dull, the writing is wooden, and the art is ... well, I don't know what word to use there. The art is boring. the art is what killed this book for me. There are no interesting perspectives, everything looks completely static, the bodies do not have any life in them, and this artist cannot draw women: he has two faces (and about three expressions per face), and he just colors them in differently to

3.5. Every 90 years, 12 gods come back as young people and live for two years. This time, they're music stars, loved and hated and a little out of control. The art is gorgeous (though Laura looks so close to America Chavez) and I'm fascinated by the story, espcially Luci and Annake, but I keep getting pulled out of the story because I think Laura is such an idiot. I know, pop obsessed teenager, but still. Idiot. it hampers some enjoyment, but I am definitely intrigued by that ending.
