In this book Aziz Ansari summarizes the results of some extensive research into modern dating with an emphasis on the role of social media and online dating in expanding options, raising the level and complexity of engagement and altering expectations of others and themselves. You might think this is a humor book with some research, but it's really a humorous research book. Funny and thought-provoking at the same time. Plenty to be sad about, but definitely takes a hopeful stance at the end. :)

I didn't love Master of None, so I was surprised to like this book as much as I did. I was fascinated by all the well-researched information, and I loved the humorous spin Aziz put on things so it didn't feel dry.

Not a page turner but an enjoyable and interesting read. If you appreciate Ansari's sense of humor (as I do), you will like this.
