I know I'm like the last person on the planet (though not the moon) to read this one, but for the record, I dug the shit out of it! Really cool worldbuilding with a great cyborg protagonist. Makes good use of Cinderella's ~totally unfair~ vibe in a very satisfying way.

the concept--a cyborg cinderella--is so out of the ordinary that I really enjoyed the set up. It had a lot of potential, and her writing is quite rapturous and enveloping, but Gah! this is one of the most predictable books I've read in a long while...

The first 100 pages or so were boring. Now that I'm at @page 150 I'm getting interested.

couldn't muster interest in any of the characters. all build-up, no pay 0ff. cliffhanger ending manipulative, not enticing. dialogue uninteresting, dramatic scenes not tense. world-building sketchy, barely there. just overall bad writing and flat characters. agree with tatiana's review. ...more
