I always start a Penny Reid book like this:
I love PR books. They are simply delightful! Like a nice warm apple pie with a dollop of whipped cream. You can't rush through these books. You have to take your time. Absorb the meaning between the lines and savor every word that comes out these characters mouths. Whenever I read a PR book I almost always come away with a feeling of indulgence and satisfaction.

Beard Science has been one of the most anticipated books by Penny Reid. Cletus is a wonderful character, everyone needs a Cletus!
There are really great sections that pulled out a fantastic amount of emotions, what I'd expect from Penny and the depth of Cletus.
The action scenes are great and full of anticipation, the Winston family scenes are glorious! I enjoyed seeing more of the characters whose books are still to come, to know more about them.

Oh Winston brothers, how much do I love thee? I am just smitten with these bearded brothers (and non-bearded sister) don't care to hide it. Just accept that it needs to be read. You know you want to try Cletus' Famous Sausage, don't try to hide it.

Loved this book a couple of times in ebook form but devoured it in the audiobook. Penny Reid uses the best narrators.

I love any and all things Penny Reid writes and this is no different. Cletus and Jennifer are fantastic and real. Another favorite on my shelf that is slowly being taken over by KITC and the Winston family.
I'm already hopelessly in love with Cletus, I can't wait to read this one!
