A-M-A-Z-I-N-G BOOK!
Beauty and the Mustache is a more than a book, it's a journey.
There are moments that will make you laugh out loud, cringe as only a
truly bad joke can inspire, weep with heartbreak and softly sigh as
love does find its path.
If you've read Penny Reid's books before, you have an expectation
of smart dialogue, strong characters - both women and men, and a clever,
witty sense of humor. On all of these, she delivers that and so much more.

4.5 starts Re read
On a re read, I can now understand the nuances I didn't get last time I read it. And I must say I love this book so much! Thank you for this treasure, dear author!
3.5 stars
Ahhh...! Yet another gem from Penny Reid! She sure can write diverse characters. <3
So I wanted to read about all Winston brothers before going and reading Grin and Beard It about Jethro. I wanted to know more about Ashley and her brothers as I already know about Duane's POV from his book Truth or Beard.

Ashley and Drew
Ashley returns Home because she hasn't heard from her Momma. What she finds is exactly what she was most afraid of; her Momma is dying. Ashley and her brothers are supported by Drew her Momma's friend and Executor of her Estate through her Momma's last six weeks of life. Except Drew is a contemporary of her brothers. And he likes poetry. And he sings and plays the guitar and looks like a blond Viking!

Taken from goodreads:
There are three things you need to know about Ashley Winston: 1) She has six brothers and they all have beards, 2) She is a reader, and 3) She knows how to knit.
Thoughts:
This one had so much going on with it meeting all the brothers and Drew it was hard to keep up with all the handsome men. Glad she started a whole new series for the rest of the boys. I love Ashley and love for books which we seem to share. I can also crochet though not very well. Glad that she could let he ...more

Another great Penny Reid book. Although there were some times that had me laughing out loud, this book had some somber moments dealing with Ashley's mom. Drew was great, but I struggled a little bit with it just because I am not into poetry at all & quite honestly most poetry just goes over my head. This was absolutely another five star book & I definitely recommend this series. It was also great to catch up the others in the knitting group. I must say that I loved the scenes with them. The Wins
