Deniz
my absolute favorite in the series. I think it's one of my favorite romances ever.

Re-read May 2017

I love this book.
Simply as that.
It's one of my favorite romances ever. I am not quite as blown away as the first time. But it's still just beautiful. Heartbreaking and so so romantic. (this is coming from the most likely least romantic person I know)
I adore Drew and Ash. Though I actually found them a bit more exasperating this time around. I fell all over in love with the Winston brood. Cleatus!

Beauty and the Mustache is part of both the Knitting in the City series and the Winston Brothers series by Penny Ried. It takes place in Tennessee with the Winston clan that I adore as well as gives us snippets with the knitting girls (and guys) we love.

Ashley is a pediatric nurse practitioner in Chicago but heads home to Tennessee when she learns here momma is in the hospital. One of the seven Winston siblings, she finds herself back in the chaos surrounding t

Beauty and the Mustache is the first book of Ms. Reid’s that I’ve had the pleasure of reading. Although, now that I’ve finished it I’m already finding myself adding more of this series to my Kindle. I can’t seem to get enough of these characters that she has created. Ashley and Drew are both dynamic characters with strong personalities. All of Ashley’s brothers are awesome characters all on their own. Throughout my reading of Beauty and the Mustache, I felt like I was sitting there in their fami ...more

What can I say about this book that is as eloquent as all the other reviews, nothing. I read this book first, which is 4th in the series, I had no idea that it was (I didn't read the small print). When I finished I actually had to thank the author, this book was fantastic, suburb and all other of those words. Penny Reid is a phenomenal story teller. I loved the southern aspect, I currently live in the south so that was fun to connect to. You will fall in love the Ashley and Drew, and the her bro ...more

I think this is my favorite of the Knitting in the City books to date. I loved getting to know the new characters. Ashley was always present in the other books, but she was never in the spotlight like Janie, Sandra, and Elizabeth. This is such a whimsical series, but this installment is a bit sad and sobering, but with a happy ending and a sweet romance.

The book starts out with Ashley, a spitfire of a character, giving who she thinks is one of her 6 brothers a "purple nurple" because they are re

Since I didn't get to go meet Penny today in Houston at a book signing, I figured I'd buy one of her books to make myself feel better. I LOVED this story the best of all so far! It might be because of all the bearded beauties, but this story was just lovely. ...more
