I absolutely adored Rebecca. It was very different than I was expecting. I thought it would be gothic and supernatural- and while there were those elements, it became straight up suspense by the end and I loved it!

I absolutely understand why this is a classic. I'm glad I finally read it. But on a personal level, I didn't really enjoy it much for 90% of the book. I dislike Maxim so, so, so much. Loved the ending, though.

I'm glad I finally was able to read this book considered a classic by many. I listened to it on audio and the narrator really acted out all the characters so very well. I finished with some unanswered questions as well as some questions that were answered surprisingly different than what I expected. I'm tossed between a 4.5 and a 5 on this one. Thus the 4*.

So hard to get into at first , but after that - wow!!! Glad I kept on reading! I still have so many questions! This would be a great book club discussion!
