Read this a few weeks ago, I hope the movie can do it justice

Wow. I just finished reading Divergent. And let me mention, I wasn’t expecting to enjoy it so much. The parts I liked most were…all of it. There was one scene that I hoped hadn’t happened; one of her friends is shot in the head; I won’t tell you which friend, or who shot him, but I kept thinking, why couldn’t he just be shot in the leg, or another non-life-threatening extremity. Divergent is a great book and incredible fun to read!. The character are well written and not annoying like other sagas.

It was a great book from start to finish. The beginning of the book was a little slow, but other than that, I enjoyed the perspective of Triss and seeing what it was like to live in a world where your choices change and influence your life.
So not what I was expecting - extremely satisfied with this read. Can't wait to continue the series!
