I think my hopes were too high for this book. I was expecting The Hunger Games and was severely disappointed.

However, I loved the idea of this book. With all of the young adult post apocalyptic books coming out this is definitely a different version of what might happen.

This was a super fast read and if you like The Hunger Games or Uglies this will be a great read for you.

I absolutely LOVED this book! The characters were great, the romance was fabulous, the near death experiences were heart-stopping, and some of the actual death experiences were pretty heart-breaking. A real page turner that kept me up till the wee hours of the morning, because I just COULD NOT STOP READING. The end of every chapter just kept me wanting more, and even though I told myself "just one more chapter then I'll sleep" that didn't happen, because I kept reading until the very end. Defini ...more
