I was pretty ambivalent about this book for the most part. It was entertaining enough and kept my interest, but I didn't have especially strong feelings on it one way or that other. Overall, I think it is somewhat forgettable.
While I appreciated the characters and found them to be generally relatable - I couldn't relate to most of their decision making. Particularly Tess and Rachel. I understand that forgiveness was the theme and I believe that we need to forgive in order to heal, but some of th

This book started of slow for me. In the beginning I could not figure out how these three women even knew each other. Eventually, the book pulled it all together and it all made sense.

This book is for mature audiences only. There is an unsolved murder, many chapters include adultery.

I found the book intriguing and engaging. I would highly recommend people to read it.

Quite an enjoyable read, although it dragged a bit in the middle...
Gina's Escape and Reality
Wow, this was exciting. Three lives of three different women. You don't know where it's all going to go until BAM, they all collide together and come full circle. The writing was crafty and interesting and overall good story. Then you get to the epilogue and BAM again!! Everything you thought you knew happened is all being questioned. This was my first Liane Moriarty book but I will be reading more for sure. ...more

This was not my favorite of hers. It was entertaining, but would not be able to recommend to anyone. This is the first audio version I've done of any of her books and I enjoyed some parts and didn't enjoy others. I thought Ester was a cute character and she stuck out to me for some reason. Will be reading her newest one with my one book club soon. ...more
