What Members Thought

Well, this was a really bizarre mystery ... but well written and kept me reading. I had a hard time following all that went on, there was so much. And the solution to the riddle I had to read twice just to get it. And the end was kind of disappointing, and yet ... not. Without spoiling anything, if you haven't read this one, you just have to. I am really looking forward to the new movie coming out in November.

Confession: As an American expat, I became increasingly miffed at the seemingly random character intersections while they recounted their history state-side. Should’ve been a tip-off. I loved that there was a proffered “out” at the end. Maybe this book was a bit of a salve for the for those who closely followed and mourned the unavenged death of the Lindbergh baby.
I listened to the audiobook, which used accents to help distinguish between the characters. A fun addition to the experience.
