A rather slow read , quite stilted in Its writing style but still enjoyable. Hercule Poirot is such a fabulous character to jump out of the pages and grab your attentions.
Agatha Christie knows how to write interesting , subtle characters who surprise you at the end of the book quite often.

This was a reread for me, for a book club. I first read this in high school, and it took me at least half the book to remember the solution to the puzzle. This is one of Christie's finest bits of logic puzzle, but I confess that the characters were a bit thin. Four stars from me - I loved it, but it's not my favorite of hers.
