Alright, I had no idea what I was in for with this book and all I can say is that it was perfect.

Maybe timing played into it, but I felt this book so intensely my heart nearly burst through my chest. I had to stop reading to catch my breath. My husband had to keep pausing his video game to check on me. It was an intense read, especially for an empathetic being like myself, but I loved every minute of it.
