Why this sat on my shelf for so long I'll never know but I can tell you it's sequels won't sit long at all.

This story starts out heartbreakingly beautiful and then ramps up to a chaotic suspense that will have you trapped within its pages.

If you liked the Hunger Games you will one hundred percent like this book. Though there are some blatant similarities that almost make me wonder if this started as fan fiction it is enough different that it becomes a creature of its own. Mainly the personality

Great plot and the story. Have to be fair as this is a trilogy so that it was a bit slow for the first half of the book to build up the plot and characters. Interest to see if the pace will be similar to the second half of the book for book 2 & 3. After all, a good read as a debut.

Real page turner! This book is better than Hunger Games but features a similar theme of violent teenagers battling in the wilderness, so steer clear if that isn't your cup of tea. ...more
