What Members Thought

Probably the thing I've heard most often about this series is the phrase "I couldn't put it down!" Fortunately for me, I could. Many times. Okay, so the part with James the evil vampire was a little suspenseful...around page 400. The rest of the dragging, boring love story narrative was quite a bit to slog through, despite the fact that it's written so poorly you can read it very quickly.

For all the hype about this book - I guess I had more expectation for its quality and content. It is a fairly good story - Some scenes that really spark the imagination but - all in all - I was a bit disappointed. The ending seemed a bit rocky. I have the next book in the series but I'm not jumping on it right away - I have, again, heard good things about the next one so we'll see...
