I may be joining you with LotR during the trilogy weeks. Still not sure atm. The Diary of a Young Girl was VERY good. I read that for my "author under 30" book :)
Out of the Silent Planet is the first of a trilogy, it is slow to start, but I really enjoyed it. The second in the trilogy is my favourite.
Are any of these rereads for you?
Lots of "classic books" here and an ambitious plan for your age ^^
I read The count of Monte Cristo, Little Women, Robinson, Journey to the Center of the Earth, Coraline, LotR and The Three Musketeers. I read them a long time ago, so I don't remember them well but I enjoyed them.
For the challenge, I'll try the Phantom of the Opera too, and as side-reads, I'll have a look at Fahrenheit and Howl's Moving Castle.
I hope you'll succeed to finish Hunger Games this time, it's a good story ;)

Gone With The Wind
Jane Eyre
Catherine, Called Birdy
Little Women
Out of my Mind
The Invention of Hugo Cabret
But I'm trying to read as many new books as possible, and I've decided that this year is the classic year for me, so... Wish me luck!

Books I've Read So Far:
A 500 page book ~ Gone With The Wind by Margaret Mitchell⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Really swept me off my feet. The romance was so passionate, and the characters so engaging! The historical parts worked in were very interesting to learn about as well.
A classic romance ~ Persuasion★ ★ ★ ★ ★Short and sweet, one of my favorite Austen novels.
A book that became a movie ~ The Princess Bride by William Goldman★ ★ ★ ★A little boring at times, but very funny and bold the whole way through. Definitely added to my experience from the movie.
A book published this year ~ The Invisible Library
A book with a number in the title ~ 1984 by George Orwell
A book written by someone under 30 ~ Call of the Wild by Jack London
A book with nonhuman characters ~ Out Of the Silent Planet by C.S. Lewis
A funny book ~ Catherine, Called Birdy⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This book was so entertaining, and the writing really popped. I love how this is historical fiction, and the characters were so hilarious and true. Highly recommended.
A book written by a female author ~ Good Wives by Louisa May Alcott⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Warming and true. I love Louisa May Alcott.
A mystery ~ The Moonstone by Wilkie Collins⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Wilkie Collins broke so many sterotypes in this one. The characters were so gripping, and at time hysterical. I found myself caring not so much for the plot, but for the romance and the people.
A book with a one-word title ~ Insurgent by Veronica Roth⭐️⭐️
Not as good as Divergent, Four and Tris's romance gets really messed up. But Tris as a character does get considerably deepened and strong.
A book of short stories ~ The Diamond as Big as the Ritz and other short stories by Scott F. Fitzgerald⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Some of these made me cry, some of these disturbed me. But they were all so beautiful and mesmerizing. I didn't like The Great Gatsby, but this is far better.
